Absence Reporting

When reporting your child’s absence, we require written confirmation for our records. Please include:

  • Your child’s name
  • Their class
  • A brief description of symptoms or reason for absence

Absences should be reported by emailing
absence@stpauls.wokingham.sch.uk, preferably by 8.15am on the day of absence.

Please be advised that Wokingham Children’s Services and the Department for Education have advised schools to only authorise leave of absence/holidays in exceptional circumstances, therefore we will not approve any absence in term time, except in such circumstances. If you are applying for term time absence, please complete the form below and return to school at least one month before the requested absence.
