Welcome to all of the families who will be joining us in September. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our New Parents’ Morning on Thursday 27th June at 9.15am, where you will get to learn more about St Paul’s and what it means to be a member of our special school family. We have four places left for Year 3 in September. If you are new to the area and thinking St Paul’s, please contact admissions@wokingham.gov.uk as they handle all admissions for our school.

Thursday 19th October

8.22am

The children had worked up an appetite by the time they reached the queue for breakfast and they are currently fuelling up for the day ahead.

Despite soggy conditions underfoot, I am pleased to say that it has stopped raining over Liddington.

10:22am

It's official, the sun is shining at PGL and as you can see from the photos, we have lots of very happy children who are loving every minute!

11.26am

More photos just in. This morning's activities consist of Vertical Challenge, Raft Building, Fencing and Jacob's Ladder.
7:15pm

After eating a huge lunch, the children were at it again and had another fun filled afternoon.

You can see from the photographs that some of the activities are at a dizzyingly high level and require a mixture of bravery and determination to succeed, whilst others need a bucket load of team work, collaboration and problem solving skills. This fabulous group of children have all of these qualities and are credit to the school, their teachers and  parents.

What has really stood out about this year's trip is their outstanding behaviour. They have been kind and caring, encouraging and willing one another on. As a result, so many of them have achieved more than they ever thought possible. We could not be prouder of their efforts and are looking forward to welcoming them back tomorrow.

More news later.

They say that every picture tells a story and the photos are proof of what a fantastic time the children are having and how happy and well cared for they have been.

Huge thanks to our brilliant staff team:

Mrs Brodie, Mrs Foster, Mrs Hallows, Mrs Holt, Mrs McBain, Mr Jex

& Mrs Thornhill

Congratulations Mrs Armstrong, Party Leader, on organising and ensuring that the residential was a huge success and a great experience for everyone involved.

The coaches are due to depart Liddington after lunch tomorrow and I will send a ParentMail confirming their safe departure as soon as I hear from Mrs Armstrong that they have left the site.

Y6 are are expected to arrive back at school at approximately 3pm but I will keep you updated should this change. Please do not worry about ringing the office to ask about the ETA, we will let you know if there are any delays.

If parents could help us unload all the bags and boxes from the coaches and take them onto the playground, the staff will disembark the children and bring them to you.

Please do not wait on the pavements outside school as there is insufficient room to safely reunite you with your child.

More news tomorrow.
